MONDAY/TUESDAY: (No Warm-up for periods 1 & 2 due to guest speaker)
  1. Warm-up #16"Can We Auto-Correct Our Humanity""Can We Auto-Correct Our Humanity" (link #2)
    • Read/Listen to the poem above.  What is the author's attitude about technology?  Provide 2 examples from the poem.
  2. Silently read each of the following character's parts and poems for this weeks quiz covering pages 1-80. Bronx Masquerade Text (pg. 1-80).  Choose one of the poems in novel as your inspiration for your Open Mic poem this Friday 12th.

  3. Extra Credit: Download the demo of the book The New Jim Crow by Michelle Alexander and write a one page summary of what you learned about the justice system and it will replace one missing CW or HW grade. The New Jim Crow (link)
  4. HW: Read pgs. 80-130 over the break and work on your lab activity (columns for novel).
