MONDAY:
  1. Warm-up #12: Teen Problems
    • What problems do teens face that make them feel they don't have a future.  Provide support from your life to answer question.
  2. Pick one column below to complete during this unit.  Pick one activity each Monday to complete using the link below (total 5 in each column).
  3. Go to this link: Bronx Masquerade Weekly Activities (1 per week)
      to complete each assignment.  Copy answers in your notebook under notes.

TUESDAY:
  1. Warm-up #13: Groundhogsday.  If your shadow could predict the weather what would you do?
  2. Finish all presentations
  3. Silent reading pgs. 23-44 (15 min)
    • Complete Discussion Questions
WEDNESDAY:
  1. Warm-up #14: HIStory.  Explain George Santayana's quote "Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it."
  2. Finish Appearance vs. Reality Presentations
  3. Silent Reading: Read up to Lupe on page 38 in Bronx Masquerade
THURSDAY:
  1. Notebook Check #2: (Period 1=23 entries; Period 2=24 entries)

FRIDAY:
  1. Quiz #2: Bronx Masquerade. Read up to Lupe's poem in the novel and complete your Bronx Masquerade Weekly Activities (1 per week)
  2. Open Mic Friday. Write a poem in your rough draft section about any topic discussed in class (see class ppt below).  Check out the website: Different Poetry Forms to help you with poetry.
