  3. Complete the study guide for The Necklace
HW: Study Guide and Vocab List #1 Due Wednesday.

Wednesday 
  1. Unpack Unit 1 Standards
  2. Notes: Elements of Story
HW: Study for Necklace Test (25 questions on text and 5 vocab words from list #1).  In Writer's Workshop, write a paragraph explaining a new alternate ending for the story The Necklace.

Thursday
  1. The Necklace Test
  2. Review alternate ending rubric and script template
  3. Draft rough draft of alternate ending your group voted and selected.
  4. Peer-edit using rubric checklist
  5. Rehearse your lines
HW: Final draft of script due Friday 20th. Rehearse lines to new ending (presentations begin Friday 20th.)

    CALENDAR EVENTS
