1. Watch To Kill a Mockingbird and complete a STEAL organizer to identify personality traits of Atticus Finch.

-Find a modern day hero you want to compare to Atticus Finch in TKAM.
TUESDAY
1. Read over the Research Paper guidelines and due dates
2. Research a modern day Atticus Finch (a hero) and place facts and quotes about them on the provided Source/Note-card Sheet. You need 2 sources besides To Kill a Mockingbird .

WEDNESDAY-THURSDAY-Thesis Sentence
1. Gather evidence to support your thesis comparing Atticus Finch to a modern day hero. Continue placing info on source/note cards.
2. Use the TKAM online novel and character list to gather info starting with the list of chapters. Find parenthetical citations from the online novel using the chapter list to help guide you in finding the appropriate evidence to support your comparison paper.
3. Complete Works Cited Page info on each of your 3 source/note-card sheet (see below).
